The next Sunday Xpress

Wrote Under is pleased to announce that our monthly open mic love-in is coming around again, and we’ve been out scouting all over Birmingham to bring you the most unusual and varied performers in the whole of the Midlands. Let’s hope they turn up. All lovely people are welcome to join us this Sunday 19th April at the Adam & Eve, Bradford Street, Digbeth. There’ll be the usual roast potatoes served from 3.15pm, with open mic starting at 4pm.

Bring your talents or just come and celebrate in the name of Susan Boyle, patron saint of spinster cat-ladies everywhere and new honorary president of Wrote Under:

Sunday Xpress open mic

sx-flier-2009-copyYes friends it’s that time again. Join us this coming Sunday for more of the best variety entertainment Birmingham has to offer. Who knows what’ll turn up this time? All we can say for sure is that there’ll be free roast potatoes for all and a film crew hanging about waiting for someone to fall over so we can make some money off of You’ve Been Framed. If that doesn’t work out I guess we’ll have to take the long route to riches and use the footage for our documentary instead*.

So come all ye musicians, poets, comedians, proseurs and unclassifiable creatives (or lovers thereof) – all talents welcome, no act too strange for this crowd.
